River Rocks

 

Japanese watercolor on 9x12 Arches 140 lb paper

Over the summer, I took a watercolor class with Donna Gonzalez at the Downriver Council for Arts, and she challenged me to do a monochrome river rock project. I used deep turquoise Japanese watercolor paint, which a touch of rose for variety on just one of the rocks.
